Dear Stranger started as a visual diary during my junior year of college and has continued to be a space for me to catalogue my personal visual explorations. This is a space for me to get back to my roots as a painter and narrative artist; a space for me to find and lose the threads of my own story, a place for all of my love letters to no one.
I am Ursula Viglietta, a visual artist and designer who was born, raised and, despite the odds, continues to live in NYC's East Village. I attended FH Laguardia High School (The Fame School) from 1998-2002, and Parsons School of Design from 2002-2007. A thwarted perpetual student, I also have a second BA in Psychology from Hunter Collage, 2008-2012.
I consider myself multi-disciplined creative, or creative generalist. I have work as a designer, art director, photographer, and curator amongst other things. Most recently I have been at Milk Bar, where I was the Creative Lead working directly under Christina Tosi from 2011-2019.
